Lesle Gallimore started in 1994 at University of Washington, and is now in her 22nd season with the Huskies. This is the longest tenure of any coach in the Pac-12. Gallimore has a record of 251-196-46 at UW, 283-222-55 in her college coaching career. She won her 200th game with UW UNC Greensboro on August 25 in a game played in Hawai’i. Gallimore coached Hope Solo and Tina Ellertson (Frimpong) as well as Kate Deines and Veronica Perez. Gallimore was chosen to serve as an assistant coach on April Heinrich’s U.S. National Team staff for the Algarve Cup in Portugal during March of 2001 and last year, she served as a member of the U23 US Soccer Women’s National Team Coaching staff. Previously, Gallimore served as head coach of the West Team for the U.S. Olympic Sports Festival in both 1994 and 1995 and as the head coach of the Region IV Olympic Development Program. She began her coaching career at San Diego State where she compiled a 32-25-9 record in four years.
